Street Improvements Funding

Area Committee 1 met at the end of November to allocate Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding, which comes from developers. We secured over £50,000 towards projects in Clifton Down by working together with residents. These were:

• Road safety upgrades outside St John’s primary on Lower Redland Road (£10,000)
• Pathway repairs and accessibility improvements to Arlington Gardens (£11,500)
• Junction improvements at Elgin Park and Lower Redland Road to prevent illegal turns (£10,000)
• Measures to tackle speeding on Apsley Road (£20,000)
